Custom cable assembly is one of DTT's core strengths. We run our own assembly workshop in Hungerford with a dedicated, fully-trained technical team, so we can build patch leads and cable assemblies to your exact specification — any length, connector type, colour or labelling. Every assembly is manufactured to industry standards and 100% tested and inspected before it leaves us.
Whether you need a one-off lead for a specific project or a bulk run of pre-configured assemblies, we match the build to your application and terminate all types of copper and fibre connectors — compatible with equipment from leading manufacturers including Cisco.

Can you make cable assemblies to a custom length?+
Yes — every assembly is built to order in our Hungerford workshop. Specify the cable type, length, connector configuration and any colour or labelling requirements and we will manufacture it to spec. If you cannot see exactly what you need, call 01488 685 400.
What connector types can you terminate?+
Our technicians terminate all common copper and fibre connectors, including RJ45 (Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6a), RJ11, RJ21/Amphenol telco and CX4, in booted or unbooted and straight or crossover configurations.
Are your custom assemblies tested?+
Yes. Every custom assembly is 100% tested and inspected before dispatch to confirm it meets the required performance standard.
Are the assemblies compatible with Cisco and other major equipment?+
Yes — we build to industry standards and our assemblies are compatible with equipment from leading manufacturers including Cisco.
Do you supply one-off orders as well as bulk?+
Both. We handle single bespoke leads for a specific project right through to bulk runs of pre-configured assemblies, with trade pricing on volume.
How quickly can I get a custom assembly?+
