Extend your data network over fibre optic cabling using Advance Active media converters. The Advance A-MC-S-111-SC-M-8 media converter provides an auto-sensing 10/100/1000Base-T copper network connection with a standard RJ45 jack. The converter also features a fixed 1000Base-SX Duplex SC fibre connector that supports transmission distances up to 550m over multimode cable.
The Advance A-MC-S-111-SC-M-8 media converter is quick and easy to install, with a switch-less design enabling a zero-touch configuration. Simply connect a suitable network connection to both copper and fibre ports and plug in the supplied power adapter for an instant extension to your data network.
The Advance range of standard media converters operate from 0°C to 50°C. Small in design, they are ideal for extending connections to IP CCTV cameras, wireless access points and more.
