Loopbacks are built to link Transceivers (TX) and Receivers (RX) positions of MPO/MTP transceivers interfaces. MPO/MTP loopbacks can facilitate and speed up IL testing of optical networks segments by connecting them to MPO/MTP trunks/patch leads.
