The 6U HCF Splicing & Patch Frame is a high density rack mountable fiber management solution that splices and patches up to 864 fibers in a 6RU cabinet space. The 6U HCF has ribbon cabling splicing via a rear positioned hinge down panels that is supplied with a latching feature for both open and closed positions and shuttered Ultra High Density LC adapter modules on the front of the frame, allowing for smooth patching and easy LC port access.

This innovative, high density pivot panel is designed to accept 24 SC simplex footprint adapters within each of the four ½ U trays. Each tray fully manages the incoming fibers, pigtails and splices.The panel can pivot by up to 120° to allow easy access during installation or rework with no disturbance of the existing cable or fibers. Angled adapters route exiting patchcords directly into the cabinet side management.An optional bracket maintains the minimum bend radius in any direction. The panel can be assembled to pivot in either direction, facilitating cable entry from either side. Ventilation tracts allow free flow of air through the panel, providing highly efficient cooling for active equipment.

IP rated external termination box.

The termination box is designed for use on the external wall of residential or small business premises. The unit houses a single splice tray and allows fibers from externally fed cables (Blown Fiber or conventional), to be spliced to pigtails for connection to the optical network unit. Pigtail fibers or patch cords are routed through the external wall fabric via a rear entry/exit position and are protected by 25mm diameter conduit. The unit can also be used as a transition point between internal and external cable.

The compact termination box is designed for use in residential and business applications for the termination of up to four fibers. The wall box enables the installation of either a single Blown Tube cable using up to a 4 fiber blown unit or two 2 fiber ruggedised cables to be spliced to four SC pigtails (PC or APC), which connect to adapters at the base of the unit. The unit can be quickly installed within an office, house or communication room environment.
